Hello, friends!
Hotel Seasons Amsterdam, which I was talking about in the previous post, meets all the standards you usually wait from a 3-star hotel. Moreover, this cheap Amsterdam hotel offers some extra amenities and services, such as airport shuttle, fax and photocopying services, Wi-Fi/Wireless LAN is available throughout the hotel, a number of paying parking places for guests on wheels and luggage storage. When you book Hotel Seasons Amsterdam, you can choose non-smoking rooms if you hate cigarette smoke or travel with children. Don’t hesitate to stay in upper-floor rooms (rooms spread over 6 floors), elevator is available and it works properly in Hotel Seasons Amsterdam.
Brad and Amanda settled in a double room, which was very clean and modern, not very spacious, but enough for two persons. Room amenities include an in-room safe, tea and coffee making facilities, private bathroom (they should provide an adequate shower curtain in their bathroom), toilet, a hair dryer, flat-screen plasma television with both Dutch and British channels, but, unfortunately, there was neither fridge nor iron available in the room. Amanda requested an iron and ironing board, the staff of Hotel Seasons Amsterdam was quick and ready to help.
Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was excellent, they offered cold meat, cereals, cheese, fruit salad, jam and, of course, tea, coffee and juice.
Amanda and Bread enjoyed their stay in Hotel Seasons Amsterdam and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for a good budget Amsterdam hotel.
Thanks to Brad and Amanda for the information. They have sent me several hotel reviews, which I am going to share with you in the following posts. Bye!

Hello, dear friends!
Unfortunately, my sister and her husband have to put off their visit to Amsterdam due to some family reasons. I am terribly upset by their decision, as I was looking forward to seeing them. Anyway, I think I should continue describing Amsterdam hotels in other to find the best accommodation option for them when they eventually come here. I just hope that will happen soon.
The next cheap Amsterdam hotel described by Marbee is Hotel City Garden in Amsterdam, which is not very big in comparison to other Amsterdam hotels, but very cosy and nice. Her friend stayed in this hotel during his first visit to Amsterdam, Hotel City Garden Amsterdam it wasn’t within walking distance from the Main train station but was easily accessible by the trams and buses. This affordable Amsterdam hotel is situated right next to Vondel Park, and the museum district is at its doorsteps. Great location, I suppose. It is not right in the centre but still very close to everything. If you regard a hotel as only a place to have a good night’s sleep, take a shower and enjoy your breakfast in the morning because you’re going to be exploring Amsterdam’s sights all day or night long, and if you do not need (or don’t want to pay for) all the extra facilities that expensive luxury hotels offer (sauna, fitness center, spa, childcare, etc., which are only useful if you plan to hang out at the hotel), then Hotel City Garden Amsterdam is a great place to settle when in Amsterdam. Booking ahead is still a wise decision. On-line reservation is available.

Hello!
Marbee’s young relatives stayed in cheap Amsterdam hotel – Cordial Hotel in Amsterdam. A nice informal atmosphere of the hotel, cozy bar, restaurant, coffee-corner and comparatively cheap prices attracted them. The hotel suited their weekend. Having booked a room in the hotel (the reservation was absolutely secure), they didn’t have to worry about their lodging any more.
After arriving to the Cordial Hotel Amsterdam they were offered to choose between 2 rooms, the one that overlooked the street and was really tiny and the other that faced a brick wall and was comparatively spacious. They thought that space was much more important than the view out of their window as they were young and didn’t plan to sit in their hotel room; they considered their hotel room just a place to sleep and wash. Their quad room was equipped with a shower, toilet, television, radio, telephone and hair dryer. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. But their neighbours turned out to be very loudly. Luckily, they left the following day. There were no complaints about the housekeeping service; the staff of the Amsterdam Cordial Hotel & Bar City Centre were friendly and polite.
Basic breakfast was served in a pleasant breakfast room. Cereal, bread rolls, ham, cheese and boiled eggs were offered for breakfast, as well as coffee and tea, all fresh. The waitress worked properly.
Marbee’s young relatives weren’t expecting the Ritz, they got what they paid for and were satisfied. So if you want a room with no frills, this is your place.
Thanks to Marbee! Bye!

Hello, friends!
I am in a good mood today because the spring is coming. After a tiring winter season, the first day of spring feels like a breath of fresh air. Jack has a couple of days off and we can walk, talk and enjoy each other! Spring is time of romance!
And again about the hotels (my sister is coming soon and I have to review as many hotels in Amsterdam as I can). The next cheap Amsterdam hotel described by Marbee is Cordial Hotel & Bar City Centre in Amsterdam. Your Amsterdam accommodations don’t have to be the most expensive or highly rated for you to explore this popular city to the fullest. And in Amsterdam is one of those tidy, charming and perfectly located hotels, that usually offer the best way to stay in the heart of the city close to the most popular places of interest for cheap. Don’t forget to book city center Amsterdam accommodations in advance or you run the risk of being disappointed.
If you turn out to be close to the Dam square, which on close to the Cordial Hotel Amsterdam & Bar City Centre, do not miss a chance to wonder around. All in all, the location of the hotel is great, close to the shopping area, Madame Tussaud, Royal Palace, De Munt, the flower market etc.
Those planning to arrive to Amsterdam by car and stay in Cordial Hotel Amsterdam & Bar City Centre should bear in mind that the hotel has no parking spaces for guests. You will have to search for a place to leave your car.

The following Amsterdam hotel review has been sent to me by my virtual friends, who were quick to respond my request for sharing personal experience of staying in Amsterdam hotels. I hope such reviews will help people coming to Amsterdam to settle comfortably and avoid disappointments when choosing Amsterdam accommodations. Brad and Amanda, thanks a lot for your reviews!
Their first review is about Hotel Seasons Amsterdam, a 3-star budget hotel near the center of Amsterdam. They stayed four nights there praised it a lot. The first thing they liked about the hotel was its convenient location close to the Central Station, the tram stop and the Canal bus. Another plus point of Hotel Seasons Amsterdam was the proximity to all the major attractions: you can easily get to Heineken Experience, several museums and botanical gardens on foot. It is also easy to reach to the Anne Frank House if you go by tram. There is also a giant flea market on the street behind the hotel Seasons Amsterdam and a canal at your doorstep. All in all, you can kill two birds with one stone if you decide to stay in this cheap Amsterdam hotel: you are away from the hustle and bustle of the capital but still in the heart of the city.
Brad and Amanda arrived at Amsterdam Central Station, than took tram number 4 in the direction of RAI and got off at the Stadhouderskade. The hotel was only a 2-minute walk from there. They didn’t get lost because they cleared up their route from the Central Station to the Hotel Seasons Amsterdam beforehand, which I think was very wise.
