luxurious Amsterdam Hotels

Today I am going to publish a letter about Golden Tulip Amsterdam Centre, a 4-star comfortable hotel in the center of Amsterdam.

“I have recently traveled to Amsterdam with my family and we had a lovely stay at the Golden Tulip Amsterdam Center. The strongest point of this comfortable Amsterdam hotel is undoubtedly its prime location in the center of everything: near Dam Square and Central Station, close to the area with shops and restaurants, within walking distance to Madame Tussauds and the Red Light District. There was a tram stop exactly round the corner from the Golden Tulip Amsterdam Center, so getting around the city was quick and cheap.

We settled in an Executive room. It was clean, and everything was in working order. Even though our room actually was too small for a family, it was very well planned so it looked spacious and cosy. The following amenities were available in our room: bath, shower, toilet, free coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, in-room personal safe, free wireless Internet, a trouser press, bath accessories and a daily newspaper.

There were two points about Golden Tulip Amsterdam Center which I would like to be changed: very loud air conditioner and no direct access to the microwave oven for guests, which made it very difficult to prepare food for our baby.

Buffet breakfast was not included in our room rate so we had to pay EUR 16.50 per person. It was very satisfying.

All in all, we had a pleasant stay in Golden Tulip Amsterdam Center and I think we will definitely stay here again if we turn out to be in Amsterdam again.”

Here is one more letter with Park Hotel Amsterdam review. Thanks to all those travelers who decided to share their thoughts and experiences about inexpensive Amsterdam hotels and budget Amsterdam accommodations.

“We have recently returned from a short stay at Park Hotel Amsterdam. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better - between the famous Leidseplein, the Museumplein and the luxury fashion district. Park Hotel Amsterdam is also adjacent to one of the many Amsterdam’s canals, so guests can go to romantic lunch and dinner cruises along the canal. There are also a lot of other options to dine out - hotel guests can enjoy food in a number of restaurants surrounding Park Hotel Amsterdam: Chinese, Indian, Thai, as well as MacDonald’s, Steak Houses and Hard Rock Cafe. There was no on-site dining in Park Hotel Amsterdam, other than snacks and room service because there was quite a bit of renovation going on and the hotel’s main restaurant was temporary closed. That’s why we preferred to dine outside. I guess, the renovation of Park Hotel Amsterdam has already finished by now.

By the way, I have heard that Park Hotel Amsterdam is a smoke-free hotel now. This means that it is prohibited to smoke in the hotel apartments and all public areas.

Our room was just perfect – tidy, modern, comfortable and functional. Beds and pillows were extremely comfy and clean. Our apartment wasn’t very spacious, but it looked very cosy. The rain shower was lovely.

Park Hotel Amsterdam was very easy to find. We got the train from the local airport to Zeud station and then tram 5 (8 stops from Zeud). We were advised not to take a taxi. Even though it takes only 20 minutes in a taxi, taxi fares are too high in Amsterdam.

We liked the hotel very much and would recommend it for tourists coming to Amsterdam.”

Hello!

I continue describing luxurious Amsterdam hotels and today’s hotel is The Dylan Amsterdam, de-luxe Amsterdam hotel rated 4 stars. The location of this top-end Amsterdam accommodation is really great - on “Keizersgracht”, one of the Amsterdam’s famous canals, close to everything in the city. In other words, with its canal cruises, local markets, main shopping streets and museums located nearby The Dylan Amsterdam is a very prestigious Amsterdam hotel for guests from different countries. Many places claim to be boutique hotels but fail to deliver, the Dylan Amsterdam certainly does deliver! I have been inside (we were invited to a dinner, and I must say that the French food there was like I used to have in Paris – very delicious) and have seen some of its stylish decor – it impresses I must say.

As our friends prefer booking Amsterdam Hotels in advance, their apartments had been ready by the time they arrived. The staff who greeted them at the reception desk were very friendly and ready to help.

Our friends had two standard single rooms. The room wasn’t too spacious, but there was just enough space for one person. I think it’s needless to mention that everything was ideally clean, I suppose that hotels of this star rating and for the price you pay MUST be clean! There was a small bathroom with overhead shower. The room was also equipped with air-conditioning, direct dial phone, VCR and CD player, TV, safe and mini bar.

Buffet breakfast was not included and our friends preferred to have breakfast in the nearby cafe.

The Dylan Amsterdam is certainly not the cheapest place to stay but it is definitely well worth the money you pay.

Bye for now!

Hello!

I am here to finish my review of The Toren hotel, 4-star luxury hotel in Amsterdam centre.
The Toren hotel offers rooms for any taste so that the hotel guests could make their choice according to their preferences. Hotel apartments are all different and vary from small and cosy ones to spacious and luxuriously beautiful. Those who are going to celebrate special occasions can book Special Deluxe rooms, Bridal Suites or the Garden Cottage.
As the purpose of my husband’s visit to Amsterdam Toren Hotel was attending a conference, he decided to settle in a standard double room for single use with bath. His room was nicely decorated and felt cozy. Jack thought that there was too much furniture in the room for a single guest – a bed, a desk, a table, 2 chairs and 2 nightstands. Maybe that’s why his room seemed small. The bathroom was big compared to the room; all the basic bathroom amenities were available. My husband’s favorite features in any hotel room are a flat screen TV and fast Internet connection – and he got them there. There was an espresso maker in Jack’s room with complimentary coffee and tea.

Continental breakfast was not included. The choice of food offered for breakfasts was great: cereals, juices, coffee, tea, fresh fruits, eggs, sausages and bacon. The food was fresh and tasty. You will also be able to enjoy the “local” feel to the area if you follow The Toren hotel’s recommendation list and visit Dutch restaurants nearby the hotel.

Even though the hotel staff were surprisingly young, they were professional and very friendly.

All in all, The Toren hotel has everything you would expect from a 4-star hotel in Amsterdam. Of course, it is not cheap or budget, but it is reasonably priced compared to other 4-star Amsterdam hotels.

That’s all about this hotel. Bye!

Hello, friends!

I continue describing luxurious Amsterdam hotels where you would possibly like to spend a special weekend, honeymoon, wedding anniversary or any other special occasion. The information about the following 4-star accommodation in Amsterdam is learnt partly from Marbee and partly from Jack.

The Toren hotel Amsterdam has been definitely designed with guests’ pleasure in mind - the hotel, which is decorated in a 17th century style, looks and feels very romantic. Big candelabras and open fireplaces create a special unique atmosphere of peace and tranquility which allows guests to feel totally at home and completely relaxed. And if you add here The Toren hotel’s central and picturesque location along one of the Amsterdam’s canals, you will easily understand why guests return to this lovely Amsterdam hotel over and over again. Not only leisure tourists, but also business travelers are welcomed to The Toren Hotel Amsterdam. Luxurious Amsterdam Hotel - The Toren hotel has meeting rooms which has a sitting capacity of about 20 people. Jack has been there and he says that their meeting room was well equipped with audio/visual equipment, video conferencing, copy and fax machines and all that stuff needed for holding a conference.

Most people coming to Amsterdam book The Toren hotel because of its location. The hotel is situated right in the city center close enough to walk to most of Amsterdam’s attractions - Anne Franks House is just round the corner. Even though The Toren hotel is in the center of the city, the outside noise doesn’t disturb much. Nevertheless, light sleepers are recommended to choose rooms at the back of the hotel.

I will continue later…

Hello all those reading my post!

I go on with the Hotel InterContinental Amsterdam review.

The hotel is easy to reach by car and it offers excellent parking facilities, the cost is EUR 45.00 per day (expensive compared to other Amsterdam hotels, but you pay for luxury here!)

You will find all possible facilities to relax and exercise in style and comfort - The Health & Fitness centre is equipped with a heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge bath, Turkish steam bath and solarium. You can also enjoy massages in a tranquil environment. There is everything to relax your body and soul.

There is also a Business Centre within Amsterdam InterContinental Hotel, which is open 24 hours a day and offers excellent facilities for business meetings and conferences.

A young couple of newly-weds, Marbee’s relatives, spent their honeymoon in this gorgeous hotel. Their guest room was huge and elegant with the river view out of their window from many rooms and had all the facilities that one would desire. Antique furnishings, a wonderful sitting area with a small library, an excellent minibar, DVD player, in room movies, new stereo system – these are just a few out of numerous amenities available in their apartment. The bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was large, that’s what you need for a good honeymoon!

Throughout the Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam hotel you can enjoy a delicious breakfast: in La Rive restaurant, the Amstel Lounge, at the pool in the Health Club in your own room. Breakfast is not included in the room rate.
Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam hotel is the best hotel in Amsterdam and the best place to any people looking for a special weekend in a special city.

See you!

Hello, friends!

I have been describing only cheap Amsterdam hotels and budget accommodation options in Amsterdam so far keeping in mind my sister’s plans to visit me here in Amsterdam. But these Amsterdam hotel reviews are not only for my sister and her husband, but for all of my friends, acquaintances and even for people whom I don’t know at all – for all those people who consider my posts about Amsterdam hotels useful and worth reading, for all those people coming to Amsterdam on different reasons. And I realize that there are some lucky people who have enough money to afford luxurious 4 and 5 star accommodations when traveling around Europe. There also some other cases when people prefer de-luxe hotels with extra services and amenities, for example, newly-weds on their honeymoon. In order to make their getaway the most romantic event in their lives, they usually decide spend some extra money on their hotel and book luxurious accommodations. I would like to review some of top-end hotels in Amsterdam rated 4 and 5 stars for such special occasions. Thanks to Marbee for the information shared with me.

Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam, a 5-star Amsterdam hotel, is often regarded as the most luxurious hotel in Amsterdam and even in the Netherlands. The Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam ranks with the best hotels in the world. That’s the reason why many celebrities, members of the aristocracy, political leaders and royalty book apartments in this hotel to hide from their eager fans here.

This impressive Amsterdam hotel commands the best location at the banks of the Amstel River. Amstel InterContinental Amsterdam is situated within walking distance from the “Rembrandtplein” and “Theater Carre” on the Amstel River. The exact address of the hotel is: Professor Tulpplein 1, Amsterdam.
